WinterGuard
We are excited to announce that we are working to bring Winterguard back to Mount Tabor!
The last time Mount Tabor had a Winterguard team was in 2017, and we are thrilled about the possibility of bringing this program back to our school.
Winterguard is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, try something different, and stay involved in the performing arts outside of marching band season. It is also a great way to meet new people, build confidence, and be part of a team!
On a personal note, participating in Winterguard was one of the best decisions I made during my high school experience. I played an instrument in the marching band during the fall and participated in Winterguard during the winter. It was the perfect opportunity to experience both sides of the activity, and I would love for our students to have that same opportunity!
Curious about Winterguard? Come check it out! Everyone is welcome to attend our upcoming clinic dates, whether you have previous experience or have never picked up a piece of color guard equipment before. These clinics are a chance to try something new, learn some basics, meet others who are interested, and decide if Winterguard is something you would like to pursue.
Please see the attached flyer for our upcoming clinic dates. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We hope to see lots of new and familiar faces as we work to bring this exciting program back to Mount Tabor!
